Halloween Fun

There are about a million things going on down here at Halloween time and these are just a few pictures of our holiday fun:

Bridger had the first party at his friend Jasper's house and he went as a Ninja Turtle. 

The kids all had a great time together and played lots of games.

The kid's getting ready for the Henderson Halloween Carnival. 

Tater-Tot was a darling little giraffe! 

There were all sorts of games, trick-or-treating, bounce houses and a pumpkin patch. 

Smalley Elementary does a Harvest Festival each year and this year was extra fun.  This is Abi and her friend Kaitlyn and their 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Thibault. 

Porter loves to jump on the police bike every year. 

Bridger always loves the face painting. 

Tate was even a cute little skunk.  The kids were so brave this year that they each went in the haunted house.  They were all terrified, but hey, at least the went in.  :) 

This was at our block party.  It was so fun to hang out with the neighbors and have good friends and good food.  The kids even had a bounce house to play in. 

Here's Abi with our neighbor's dog, Nash.  She loves him and I think it's great that she can play with a dog without us having to get one. 

The boys got to ride around in the Schwei's Rhino and that was their highlight.  Bridger didn't want to get out of it.

There were lots of fun games this year and all the cars looked so neat. 

The kids got TONS of candy and it's so tempting for me but I've been good to only take one piece a day.  :)

The kids were checking out their candy haul and Tate kept crawling over to steal pieces from them.  It was too funny.  He's a fast little guy. 

This was taken right before Porter's preschool party.  He was a Ninja. 

Tate was a ducky. 

He's also our little devil now that he's crawling around and getting into everything! 

Bridger was a dinosaur for his preschool party. 

We went down to see Abi's school costume parade and the boys each wanted to dress up.  Porter and Bridger are dinos and Tate is a cow.

Black Mountain held a huge Trunk-or-Treat so we took the kids down there for some more holiday fun. 

There was SO MUCH to do and they had a ball.  We took Abi's friend Kaitlyn with us too. 

Bridger was, once again, a dinosaur!  :) 

Tate was the cutest little Tin Man you've ever seen.  He was so tuckered out by the end of the night. 

This is Abi and her friend Taylor at their dance performance on Saturday. 

Porter wanted to wear his vampire costume. 

Tate was a darling little Thomas the Train. 

Bridger and Tate were cute little trains together. 

The performance was great and the girls danced their hearts out. 

Our final outing was to Boulder City. 

Matt dressed as a hunky prisoner. 

We even dressed up Tinkerbell and Brownie and they were a hit for all the little kids.

We ended the night with our annual pumpkin pizza which the kids always love. 

It was strange having Halloween on Sunday this year.  At least the kids got to dress cute for church. 

I made the boys little matching Halloween bow ties. 

We all looked festive. 

That night we told the kids they could dress up for the trick-or-treaters and they loved that.  

They handed out candy all night and had a ball.  It was a great Halloween!
