September Sweetness

September seems like it just flew by.  There were a lot of big things that happened but these pictures are just some of the highlights.
We had a beautiful, warm September and the kids spent lots of time in the back yard.
They played in their little pool quite a bit.
They also had Daddy make the slide on the swing set into a water slide.
Daddy got more than just the slide wet.
And don't worry, Brownie didn't miss out on any of the fun!
Me and some of my girls went to see Gary Allan on September 7th down at the Sunset Station.
It was such a fun concert and I got to see it with such great girls!
He can definitely put on a great show!
All of us girls were rocking out, country style.
He's such a great singer and has a good mix of slow and fast music.
He's not too bad to look at either.  :)
This concert is going to be a yearly tradition for us!
There were some huge high points this month and one of them was the rivalry game between BYU and the U of U.  It was so wonderful to watch those cougars get slaughtered by the Utes!  It was also very enjoyable to go to church the next day in our full red and rub it in to everyone.  :)
Porter has decided to try soccer this year and he's on a great team with a bunch of his friends from the ward.
His coach, Doug Huber, lives the street behind us.
I got the opportunity to take the team pictures this year and they sure are a crazy bunch!
I came up with these cute little collage pages for each of the kids since their team is the "Angry Birds".
Porter has loved soccer and is actually quite good for it being his first year.
He's not afraid to get out there and go after the ball.
The season has since ended and unfortunately our sweet little Angry Birds did not win a single game.  :(
It's alright though because they all said they had so much fun!
My birthday is in September and Matt always gives be beautiful roses.  This year they were a gorgeous purple and smelled so nice!
His parents were kind enough to come into town and watch the kids while we went for a night out to see WICKED!
The show was absolutely AMAZING and we saw it with some of our favorite people.
I also had the pleasure of hosting a baby shower for my friend Angela Davidson.
We held it over at the park and I had fun making this diaper motorcycle and the melon baby.
She was expecting a baby boy named Henry - which she had on November 1st - and we all signed little diapers so she could have some fun thoughts while changing him.
The kids had so much fun all playing together on the playground and on the splash pad.
We ladies had fun just mingling together and celebrating Angela.
Here is the soon-to-be mother, Angela and the soon-to-be big brother Jasper.
I didn't do a ton of cooking during this month but we did try these new Italian Chicken Roll-Ups and they were delicious.  We also had the Pasta Carbenara on the side for the first time as well.
I'm always up for trying a yummy new dessert and these were our Oreo Truffle Brownies and they were heavenly!
