Abi's Field Day

Last Friday was Abi's Field Day at Smalley Elementary. She was so excited to get to school. We walked down to go see her after lunch. It was a hot day and I kind of felt bad for the poor kids out in that heat but they seemed to be loving it. Abi had lots of races. She was awesome at the wheelbarrow race. Her favorite was the chicken race. My personal favorite was the plunger race, it looked like she was running with the Olympic Torch. They got to have a break for popsicles. Abi needed this too cool off. Each of the boys got one too. Well , honestly, the boys had a few. :) Here's Abi and her friend Cianna. This is her other friend, Madison, that is holding her. This is Mrs. Rodriguez and Abi's whole 1st grade class. The boys spent most of their time playing on the playground. Porter mostly played with his friend Jonah. Although, he made some new friends as well. They taught him some cool tricks on the bars. He was most proud of this trick! Abi finished off her field day with a water game and a huge smile!
