Monday was Tate's 2nd birthday and it was a day when all the other kids had school so he had a lot of fun playtime with Mommy and Daddy.
He even had a shirt for the special day!
He spent most of his time playing with his new basketball hoop from Grandma and Grandpa Morton.
What can I say, the boy has skills! :) He never seems to miss. This is his game face and growl!
We had pizza for dinner that night - which he LOVES - and he even got his very own chocolate cake - which he also LOVES!
We sang to him and he blew out his candles.
The other kids got to have cupcakes because we kind of figured that Tate could easily consume this whole thing himself.
He took hold of that fork and went to town.
He started off slowly at first but soon he got some momentum going.
His face got dirtier with every bite.
Pretty soon he decided to ditch the fork and just grab huge chunks with his hands and stuff it in his mouth.
The cake didn't last long after that and it was soon all gone. Tate even licked his fork clean - good to the last bite!
Abi got him all decked out with a party hat and a party blower which made him feel pretty special.
Daddy got the lucky job of cleaning him up this year and here he is with his clean and adorable face.
Daddy even had to grab the dust buster and vacuum the little monster off.
Presents came next and Tate knew exactly what to do with those.
He loved his Imaginext Dragon Castle and I think his favorite part was that his brothers loved it too and they sat and played with him for the rest of the night.
We now have another toddler running our household but this one is a definite keeper!
Here's a picture of Tate's birthday haul. Pretty good I think!
