Tate's First Haircut

Tate has been in need of a haircut for quite sometime now.

He's had this fluffy pillow of hair that's always appeared when he would ride in his car seat or snuggle his blanket - which was all the time.
His hair isn't necessarily thick and it wasn't getting really long but it still needed to be fixed.
Matt came upstairs and I had already started trimming the hair but Matt wanted the honor of giving him his first haircut so I let him take over.
Tate was really good and didn't move all over the place like his brothers always do.  He even liked the tickle and noise from the trimmer.
When he was all said and done, he didn't have much hair left.
We were still able to make a few little spikes on top for church.
The only drawback is that he now looks more like a boy than a baby.  :(

Oh first hair cuts are often a sad thing, it means they are growing up. I can't believe he sat so nicely for you guys, hopefully that keeps up for future trims : )
