Well it's that time of year again and this season we decided to sign Bridger up for baseball as well.
The boys ended up on the same team because it's the 5 & 6 year olds. Bridger just turned 5 and Porter won't be 7 until August so it worked out perfectly.
I wasn't looking forward to going to separate practices and now I don't have to!
They get along really well lately too so they loves playing together.
I even got a "Baseball Mom" shirt to wear to the games.
Their team is called the Angry Birds and this was perfect for my boys because they love anything Angry Birds!
They have the best coaches too and they always come dressed up in their Angry Birds shirts. (Actually all of our team fans now come in Angry Birds shirts and it's awesome to see our bleachers filled with team supporters - I even traded in my "Baseball Mom" shirt for an Angry Birds shirt and every member of our family goes to each game decked out!)
Their first game was on March 31st.
They did a good job but it's amazing how much they've progressed since then.
Porter has always been a pretty good little batter and thrower.
Bridger has had to learn everything from scratch because it's his first season but at the last game he smacked a ball and got a run without having to us a Tee.
Porter helps Bridger with his technique too.
They have a great little team and it's so much fun to watch their games.
The boys love getting their treats at the end of each game best though!
Bridger is like Mr. Rogers changing from his cleats to his regular shoes after each game. :)
