St. George - Day 2

We shared our bed with Tate while we were in St. George and Tate LOVED it. (Probably because he treated me like an all-you-can-eat-buffet the whole night.) Our room was right next to Dan and Sarah's our kids would wake up each morning and immediately go see if their cousins were awake. They also went to find Grandma and Grandpa. We'd always spend some time in their room. This was Abi's favorite! Abi wanted her cousin Lexi to ride in our car and jam to Hannah Montana. We were up for a little adventure today so we went out to the sand dunes in Snow Canyon. I'm not quite sure why this sign is here because it's pretty obvious where those sand dunes are. Bridger was so excited to be Grandpa's little buddy again. All the cousins loved playing in the sand. Grandpa sat down to make a sand castle with all of them. The boys enjoyed it most of all. Bridger made sure that he was doing his best to help. Porter helped too. It actually turned out pretty nice! The sister-in-laws let the daddies go out with the kids and we relaxed. Hailee stayed with the girls. Meanwhile, Matt was out exploring with Tater-Tot strapped to him. There was sand everywhere and the kids loved running around in it. Tate didn't last very long. All of that walking around put him right to sleep. Daddy was worn out too and took a rest with Bridger. One day Tate will be out there running around with the rest of them! We had a lot of fun and the kids loved exploring. It was just like being at the beach. Afterwards, we all got a snack and a drink from the back of Grandpa's car.
We got a picture of each of the kids in the sand: Got to have those memories right! That evening Dan and Sarah had a great idea to go see the bats that come out over the St. George temple each night. We thought we'd tag along because we knew the kids would enjoy it. We also took the opportunity to get some pictures. We don't have many of our family together so we got a couple.
Here are the cousins on the stairs: They were good sports to let us take so many pictures. Here are the cousins sitting on the bench eating licorice. The daddies and their little ones admiring the temple. They're looking for the bats. Tate was having a ball there. He was practically bouncing out of Matt's arms. He loved his cousin Hailee and had to give her kisses. Actually, it was more like he was attacking her. They were both so cute with their blue eyes.
Here's some more cute shots of my darling niece: These are just some other random fun shots from the night: Porter. My niece Lily. My nephew Camden. Abi and Lexi.
It was a fun time and I'm glad we got to share it with family!
