The kids were pretty excited because they felt like they were having a huge sleepover.
On our first evening there we went out to dinner with Great-Grandpa Foster. It was really nice to get to spend some time with him.
Grandma Sherry took us all over to By Water Park where the kids had a ball playing on all of the equipment.
They also dug through the sand in the horseshoe pit.
Porter wanted me to take a picture of everything he was doing.
Including picking mushrooms - he says, "flowers and for girls and mushrooms are for boys!"
Grandma Sherry also showed the kids the baseball field where daddy used to spend many afternoons. He also got a broken nose there when a fly ball hit him while he was picking grass in the outfield. Grandpa Bill was coaching a game and Matt was only 5 or 6 years old.
There was also a lot of fun playtime with the cousins. Abi got to do crafts over at Lexi's house and Camden and Hailee acme over for a day of play.
Tate was really excited to see his favorite cousin again!
They had so much fun playing out on the swing set.
They were both the perfect weight to balance each other out on the teeter-totter too.
They didn't fight at all and even took turns sharing the toys.
I had fun taking lots of pictures of my darling little niece!
After playing for a while, the kids all went inside and had ice cream cones.
They spent a good majority of the afternoon running through the sprinklers.
Tate and Hailee were so cute and kept holding hands as they would run through the water. They both LOVED it too and were soaked from head to toe.
Camden and Abi and a lot of fun together as well.
They took turns hosing each other down but I think Camden got the worst of that little game.
We had so much fun spending time with Grandma and Grandpa at their house and we're so grateful for all they did for us!
