We've had all sorts of craziness going on around our house lately and this post is just to keep you updated on the Morton Madness. :)
Porter had a class assignment to build a leprechaun trap and after looking at some on the internet, this is the one he chose. It work by placing some gold at the top of the hat and the leprechaun will climb the ladder, reach for the gold, and then fall through the tissue paper top and be stuck! He took it to school but somehow he escaped. Tricky leprechaun!
This has been the look that Tate seems to be sporting a lot lately.
He doesn't want to keep his pants on so his diaper tends to sag easily once it is full. (Which is all the time since he's constantly drinking - notice the sippy cup in his hand!)
Oh yeah, this is a great look - you "crack" me up kid!
Tate's favorite dinner is spaghetti and he always manges to start clean but end up filthy.
He still struggles to get the noodles to stay on his utensil so his hands are always covered in sauce too.
It's even way up in his hair. How does this happen?
Look at that smirk - he knows that getting dirty leads to his other favorite thing... the bath tub!
I wanted my kids to wear green on the Sunday before St. Patrick's day and I found these great little ties in the dollar section at Target. You can't beat a buck and they looked adorable!
Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Bill came down to visit us a couple weeks ago and they brought their tent for us to borrow when we go camping. We decided to make sure that everything was there so we set it up in the backyard.
The kids were so excited to be out there in it and Grandma even went out and read them some stories.
They had so much fun that they even pulled out there sleeping bags.
They were all acting so sill and having a great time.
They loved the stories and the time with Grandma.
Tate thought it was fun too and he would laugh out loud along with the rest even though he had no idea what he was laughing at.
Grandma and Grandpa had to leave before Bridger's birthday party so they threw him a pre-party with a cake and everything!
He thought it was pretty cool that he was going to get two cakes and get to blow out his candles twice!
He's so lucky to have grandparents that love him so much!
He even got presents from his aunts and uncles and this Transformer helmet from Mommy and Daddy.
Abi had her dance picture and she finally got to wear her costume. This was her first time and she loved it!
The kids got all dressed in their green for school on the day of their St. Patrick's parties. They looked pretty festive!
The boys had a lot of fun at their parties and Bridger even got to take a treat to his class in celebration of his birthday.
Abi had her first dance performance in her costume on the night of St. Patrick's Day and it was down at the Henderson Amphitheater.
Due to some inclement weather, they held it indoors but the girls did a great job!
At Activity Days Abi got to make an Easter treat that she brought home to share.
They were delicious Easter S'mores Bars and boy were they tasty!
Bridger had a small mishap when he woke up one morning not looking quite like himself. Apparently he had gotten a bug bite on his eye that caused his face to swell up a bit.
He did still look very familiar though because he had a striking resemblance to his cousin Camden.
What do you think? They could be twins right?! The swelling was gone by the next morning and Bridger Bear was back to his regular self again although he did enjoy his time looking like his cousin!
