Valentine's this year kind of went all week long.
It started out on the 10th with my friend Nancy and I at Walmart for the midnight release of the Breaking Dawn DVD - which was my gift from Matt.
He also got me these beautiful roses and some candy just a bit early because he was out of town on the official day of Valentine's.
Bridger had his preschool party on the 13th because his school is only on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. He had so much fun and loved receiving all of his Valentines.
That night we got a visit from "The Old Hobo" like we do every year. He caught an early train into town so he came the night before Valentines.
The kids love it when he comes and leaves a nice big bag full of candy. (Old family tradition.)
Tate didn't remember this from last year but he was certainly excited about it this year.
On Valentin's morning the kids woke up to some heart-shaped cinnamon rolls. (Okay, they were heart shaped on the pan and then they shifted a bit during baking! ha ha.)
Each of the kids got decked out in their heart clothes and prepared for a fun-filled day.
Abi and Porter gathered up their Valentine's to hand out. Porter had a fun teddy bear picnic party that I got some great pictures out but unfortunately they were all on my phone and Tate deleted two months worth of photos from my phone. :(
That evening we had some friends over for a Valentines party which included our traditional heart-shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's.
We had my friend Nancy and her cute kids and we also had the Schroeder kids over for lots of heart-day fun.
Nancy had a bunch of darling crafts for the kids to do and they LOVED that.
The favorite of the night was definitely the hand print hearts.
They each loved getting their hands painted bright red - with the exception of little Lindsey who didn't want any part of it. :)
They turned out so cute!
We played some games and Reagan was excellent and Valentine's Day BINGO.
Tate and Lyndsee were so cute together and they got into all sorts of mischief. (Don't worry Cydnee, I put a stop to the eating off the floor fun.) :)
It was a great night and I was glad that Nancy was willing to be my Valentine's date!
